Cobolli and the Champions League final: “Who am I rooting for? I played with Calafiori…”

Who’s rooting for Flavio Cobolli in the Champions League final? Today, Saturday, May 30th, the Italian tennis player defeated Learner Tien in the third round of the Paris Grand Slam, reaching the round of 16, a matchup that will see Paris Saint-Germain play Arsenal, led by friend Riccardo Calafiori.
“I don’t want to talk about tennis today, it’s the Champions League final,” Cobolli said from the Philippe-Chatrier pitch. “My first passion is football, so I’ll be rooting for… I don’t know who. I played football before tennis, and I played with Calafiori, who plays for Arsenal.”
This very ‘allusion,’ which clearly hinted at Cobolli’s preference, provoked boos from the PSG fans at Roland Garros: “Wait,” Cobolli said, laughing, “I love PSG because I love Luis Enrique. So today I’ll cheer for the greatest match ever with more than one goal. But I’d like to sleep tonight.”
