COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Field Hockey is pleased to announce that CBS Sports Network will air the U.S. Women’s National Team’s matches at the upcoming 2026 FIH Hockey World Cup, taking place in Wavre, Belgium.
The agreement with USA Field Hockey, CBS Sports and the International Hockey Federation (FIH) will once again bring field hockey action to one of the nation’s leading sports channels.
Programming on CBS Sports Network will cover only the United Eagles’ pool play games and crossovers. The No. 11 USWNT will start against Pan American rivals, No. 2 Argentina, on Saturday, August 15 at 11:30 a.m. ET, but it will be tape delayed on CBS Sports at 5:30 p.m. ET. Next, USA will face No. 14 Scotland on Monday, August 17 at 5:00 a.m. ET, before meeting No. 5 Germany in their final pool game on Wednesday, August 19 at 8:00 a.m. ET.
Crossovers begin on Saturday, August 22, where teams are reallocated into either the Second Stage (Pool F) vying for the semifinals or Classification Stage (Pool H) where teams will compete for 9th to 16th place. The second crossover game will be played on Monday, August 24, before the semifinals on Thursday, August 27 and final on Saturday, August 29.
