Drivers are facing queues on the M6 and M61 after traffic was stopped following a crash.
Vehicles were held for around 15 minutes following a crash between junctions 31 and 30 on the M6, near Preston.
One lane of traffic remains closed in both directions, with repairs taking place on the central reservation barrier following the crash.
There is heavy traffic in both directions approaching the scene, including on the M61 northbound.
