Trains from Reading to London DISRUPTED by ‘trespass incident’

UPDATE (09:35 am Monday, August 3): The issue has now been dealt with, and the train disruption has now ended.
Elizabeth Line services between Reading and London may be delayed following an earlier ‘trespass incident’ at Abbey Wood.
The disruption is affecting trains between Reading, London Paddington, and Abbey Wood.
Elizabeth Line services are now running at regular speed again, but trains may still be delayed or rescheduled as the service recovers.

National Rail has advised customers to allow extra journey time for short notice service alterations or platform changes, and to listen to Elizabeth Line station announcements or approach a staff member for information.
Travellers who experience a delay may be entitled to compensation and should keep their tickets and make a note of their journey.
