Fears for missing Harry in EastEnders as truth of his whereabouts is confirmed

Fears mount for EastEnders’ Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) next week when he goes missing in the midst of his drug ring nightmare.
The Walford mechanic has found himself in over his head as local dealer Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) has blackmailed him into becoming part of his operation.
Earlier this month, Harry thought his prayers were answered when his mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) stood up to Ravi and seemingly convinced him to cut her son loose.
However, with Ravi and his associate Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) still exploiting Harry’s friend Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), Harry then turned to his dad Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) for help in protecting Kojo.
Upcoming scenes see Teddy set about gathering evidence on Ravi and Okie by planting a hidden camera in Kojo’s flat, but his plan ends up putting Harry in grave danger.
Next week, Teddy panics when he can’t locate his son and turns to George Knight (Colin Salmon) to help find him, but they call the hunt off when Harry makes contact with his dad.
Unbeknownst to them, however, the grim truth is that Okie and Ravi are keeping Harry hostage and forced him to make the phone call.

Harry begs Okie to release him, but he refuses unless Harry reveals where the hidden camera is linked to.
Eventually, Harry relents, and Okie goes to retrieve his laptop. But despite giving the pair what they want, they refuse to let Harry go.
When Ravi later skips town and leaves a thrilled Okie in charge of things, he ignores the instruction to finally release Harry. Delighting in further tormenting him, Okie then reveals he plans to win over Harry’s girlfriend Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
After Gina and Okie later share a drink, an astute Gina senses something serious is going on with Harry and shares her concerns with sister Anna Knight (Molly Rainford).

Back at the lock-up, Harry is broken as Okie continues to toy with his emotions, and takes drugs to block out his current reality.
Will he make it out of this hostage situation alive?
Actor Elijah Holloway, who plays Harry, recently told Metro: ‘The storyline we’re entering into at the moment is going to keep ramping up so we’ll see what happens. There might be turns and twists.
‘I think you can just expect a lot of fireworks.’
EastEnders airs these scenes from Monday 13 October at 7.30pm on BBC One or stream first from 6am on iPlayer.
