Jaron “Boots” Ennis will make a triumphant return to his hometown of Philadelphia. He will step into the ring to face off against Uisma Lima in his super welterweight debut on Saturday, October 11, at the iconic Wells Fargo Center.
Ennis has an undefeated record of 34 wins, which includes 30 knockouts. He is coming off a sixth-round victory over Eimantas Stanionis, having earned the WBA and IBF welterweight championships in April 2025. Now, instead of defending his titles, Ennis has decided to move up to the 154-pound weight class and has signed a multi-year deal with Matchroom Boxing.
Ennis will face Lima, who has a record of 14 wins and 1 loss, including 10 knockouts. Known as “Monstro,” Lima made his debut in 2019 and is currently on a four-fight win streak. His only loss was to Aaron McKenna in 2023, which he suffered by unanimous decision.
