The Manchester Half Marathon is set to return on Sunday 12th October, with over 28,000 runners taking to the streets of Trafford & Manchester.
As the largest half-marathon in the North West, the Manchester Half Marathon involves a 13.1-mile challenge.
Last year’s event saw 21,000 people take part, raising more than one million pounds for charities.
The 2024 event also created a £7 million boost to the local economy, with thousands travelling to Greater Manchester to take part and to watch.

The route will remain similar to 2024, with the start just past the White City Arch, before looping round Wharfside, past Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium.
The route continues South along the A56, before circling back via Sale, and heading back to the finish point near Lancashire Cricket Club.
To accommodate the event, a series of road closures will be in place along the route for periods of the day, with the first closure coming into affect from 6.30 am on Sunday morning, and the last closures ending at 5pm the same day. Those roads in the surrounding area that are open are expected to be very busy, with many bus services also diverted due to these closures.
Those travelling in the city are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
