Emergency services are currently attending an incident at Surbiton Station, however, despite paramedic attention, a passenger has been pronounced dead at the scene.
The Met police, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade all attended the scene.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police (BTP) told Nub News: “Officers were called at around 3.35pm today (3 October) to reports of a casualty on the tracks at Surbiton railway station.
“Officers responded with paramedics, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
Due to the incident, the station will be closed for the next few hours with no train services running, according to a South Western Railway (SWR) staff member.
SWR also reports that all lines are currently blocked between Woking and Wimbledon and that they will be until the end of the day.
Passengers who have already purchased a train ticket can use their tickets on Transport for London (TFL) buses on the routes between London Waterloo – Clapham Junction – Wimbledon – Surbiton – Chessington South – Hampton Court – Epsom – Leatherhead – Dorking.
