How much could it cost you to see Luke Combs perform at Lambeau Field next May?

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — Country music superstar Luke Combs decided one show at Lambeau Field wouldn’t be enough.
“You kind of knew it was coming. When it was announced, you knew it was going to sell out quick, you knew that there were going to be a lot of people coming in from out of town. It was to be expected,” said Steven Childers, who purchased a ticket.
“Just shows how much demand there was for it and how excited the community’s gonna be about it,” said Kyle Monroe, who purchased a ticket.
But for the secondary market, like Ticket King, that drives prices down.
“The news dropped this morning that he was adding a second show, which is always almost the kiss of death in the secondary market, just because there’s so many seats for a two-day show,” said Travis Loftus, manager at Ticket King.
“It was pretty much a no-brainer of getting in the presale and finding a way to get tickets here,” said Monroe.
“As soon as it was announced and the tickets went on sale, my wife and I, we got extremely excited. A buddy of mine shot me a text, the screenshot of the poster that was on Facebook about it, and of course we were going,” Childers said. “We got a group together and we got tickets all sitting together. Couldn’t be more excited.
Members of Combs’ fan club — known as the Bootleggers — were able to purchase tickets through the presale that started Tuesday.
“I did join that, just for the presale. I’m not going to act like I was a day one. Something that I took advantage of and obviously paid off,” said Monroe.
Both Childers and Monroe got their presale tickets on Ticketmaster, and it cost them approximately $220, including fees.
To compare prices, FOX 11 looked at getting two tickets for Friday’s show. The cheapest tickets FOX 11 found, all including fees, were:
- $153 in section 301 on Ticket King
- $152 in section 308 on Stub Hub
- $147 in section 304 on Seat Geek
To get two people into the pit for Friday’s concert, the cheapest tickets FOX 11 found were on Seat Geek for $312.
“They’ll be higher up right away, just because it’s the initial, ‘Hey, I want to go!’ Then we’ll have a lull for almost six months. It’s winter, nobody’s really talking about it. And then we’ll pick up about a month beforehand,” said Loftus.
Childers attended one of Kenny Chesney’s concerts at Lambeau Field. He said the energy of a concert at Lambeau Field is unmatched.
“It’s amazing. Everybody that’s been to a Packer game, you know what that’s like. Just 10 times the excitement than a Packer game, when it comes to the live music here,” Childers said.
No matter when you get your tickets, seeing the “My Kinda Saturday Night Tour” will cost you. But if you shop around, you might just find a good deal.
The shows are set for May 15 and 16. Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
