Friday, 17 October
KAMAY KO COLLECTION SHOWCASE AT SISKO STUDIO

On 17 October, fashion brand Kamay Ko will unveil its latest collection, titled Nonna Club, at SISKO Studio. During this cosy gathering, visitors will be the first to discover — and purchase — the new pieces. The collection draws on nostalgia, evoking the warmth of time spent at grandma’s house: Sunday lunches, the scent of freshly baked pastries, and the crackle of the radio in the background.Nonna Club brings back the colours, patterns, and spirit of the 1990s, reimagined through contemporary design.

WHISKY SHOW

The Whisky Show returns for its 14th edition on 17 & 18 October at the InterContinental Budapest, celebrating premium spirits over two flavour-filled days. Visitors can taste more than 700 varieties of high-quality drinks – from whisky and rum to gin and other fine distillates – while experts guide them through the world of aromas and flavours. Alongside the tastings, the programme once again includes Masterclass sessions, offering deeper insights into selected whiskies and the chance to discover new favourites.

UPCYCLING FESTIVAL

On 17 October, the Upcycling Festival takes place in the permaculture garden of Grapoila, celebrating creativity and sustainability through value-creating reuse. Visitors can look forward to a garden tour, an upcycling walk, a porridge-mix workshop, and a lively afterparty. The event will feature Secontaste, Grapoila, and TREAT, while chef Lujza Nényei from NYAMI takes care of the food. FIRST Craft Beer will be on tap, Mad Dog will handle the coffee, and desserts will come from Nóri Berta, pastry chef at Trafik.

ÉDES NAPOK BUDAPEST / SWEET DAYS FESTIVAL

The sweetest weekend of the year returns as Édes Napok Budapest – Chocolate and Sweets Festival takes over Vigadó Square and the Danube Promenade. ART MARKET BUDAPEST

From October 16 to 19, Art Market Budapest welcomes contemporary art lovers to the MTK Sportpark. Featuring nearly ninety exhibitors from around twenty-five countries, the fair showcases thousands of artworks across painting, sculpture, and photography. Alongside the main exhibition, visitors can explore Art Photo Budapest – Central and Eastern Europe’s only international photography fair – as well as the ART+ programme series and the open-air sCULTURE sculpture park, adding an extra creative flair to the event.

VINTAGE CARS EXHIBITION

Step back in time at The GlassHouse, where over a hundred rare and historic cars are on display at one of Budapest’s most impressive vintage vehicle exhibitions. Open daily from 10 am to 7 pm, this permanent exhibition is a must-see for car lovers — with tickets priced between HUF 3,000 and HUF 5,000.

ZOLTÁN TOMBOR: FACE TO SPACE INSTALLATION AT W BUDAPEST

From October 9, visitors can experience Zoltán Tombor’s Face to Space installation, created especially for the Courtyard of W Budapest. The spatial artwork explores the profound physical and emotional connection between humans and architecture, opening a dialogue between body, structure, and light. The internationally acclaimed fashion and portrait photographer’s images form part of a living, ever-changing light experiment — where transformation and viewer movement continuously reshape the meaning of the piece. The installation is on view until October 19.
