Syracuse, N.Y. — Pat Narduzzi says his defense is built to stop the run, that it’s a trademark of what Pittsburgh does and how it plays.

Throw in a dash of some motivational insult before the game, and the Panthers had something else to fuel its mindset during Saturday night’s 30-13 victory against Syracuse in the JMA Wireless Dome.
