Teams: Gabriel fit, five changes made v West Ham | Team news | News

Mikel Arteta has made five changes to his side for this afternoon’s Premier League meeting with West Ham United, with a host of big names returning to the side.

The boss rotated against Olympiacos in midweek as we earned a 2-0 victory to continue our 100% start to the Champions League, but he has rejigged his XI again as we look to record a fourth straight win in all competitions.

The good news is that Gabriel has been deemed fit enough to start once again, having come off on Wednesday with an injury, but takes his place in a defence that sees Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori return at full-back.

Having scored off the bench in midweek, Bukayo Saka is reinstated to our line-up to make his 200th Premier League appearance – find out a heap of stats about his haul and where he ranks in the division’s history books.

The other two switches see Declan Rice come in to face his former club, while Eberechi Eze is handed another opportunity to impress from the off. Martin Zubimendi, Gabriel Martinelli, Mikel Merino, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ben White all drop to a very strong bench.

As for West Ham, new boss Nuno Espirito Santo has made one change from the side that drew 1-1 at Everton in his first game in charge on Monday night, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka returning to the team at right-back, with Kyle Walker-Peters dropping to the bench.
