The week 9 AP Poll was released Sunday and BYU moved up from #15 to #11 after their 24-21 win over Utah. The win moved BYU to 7-0 and puts BYU as one of six undefeated teams in the country. BYU is one of four ranked Big 12 teams along with Texas Tech (14), Cincinnati (21), and Arizona State (24).
BYU next travels to 5-2 Iowa State. The Cyclones are 5-2 and coming off consecutive road losses to Cincinnati and Colorado. ISU is coming off a bye week and is playing a BYU team that is riding high after an emotional rivalry win over Utah. BYU followed last year’s Utah win with a home loss to Kansas. Iowa State is undefeated at home and is currently is a slight favorite over the Cougars.
The game kicks off at 1:30 MT on FOX. The game is already officially a sellout. Early weather forecasts show no moisture.
