Terry Lee, his wife, their two friends and their friends’ kids were standing just outside Rogers Centre when Lee broke some news.
The kids — Neil, 9, and Mia, 10 — thought they were all going to a restaurant. But Lee asked: how would they like to go to the World Series game instead?
The kids, needless to say, were overjoyed.
“I purchased a bunch of tickets and offered them to my friends’ kids to come with us. We just decided to make it a little surprise,” Lee told me.
As for Lee’s wife and their two friends, they will also be watching the game — at the restaurant.
