Actor Arjun Rampal shared a note on social media expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming response to his espionage-thriller, Dhurandhar. Describing the film as a significant collaborative effort, he thanked director Aditya Dhar, Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt and the production team.
Rampal emphasised the vision and dedication of Dhar, highlighting the narrative style and depth of character development in the film. His post read, “Ladies&Gentlemen, we were not ready for this. Thank you Thank you Thank you (folded hands emoji) for this incredible love, support and acceptance you have given #dhurandhar which is a vision and passion of one man, my Boiya (Kashmiri for brother) @adityadharfilms the day you narrated me the film I realised what an important film you wanted to make, a story would unfold,in the uniquest narrative style. The level of research, the depth in all characters, the creation of each character from their look to their attitudes. You surprised, kept surprising. But most importantly you soaked up all the pressure while filming and never had a bad day. Thank you Boiya. Love you (sic).”

The actor plays the role of an ISI officer, Major Iqbal in Dhurandhar. Ranveer portrays an Indian operative in the spy-thriller, who achieves a difficult infiltration into the notorious Lyari gangs. The film enhances the fictional conflict by casting real-life figures: Akshaye Khanna embodies the character of Rehman Dakait, while Sanjay Dutt plays SP Chaudhary Aslam. “We must infiltrate the very core of terrorism in Pakistan,” declares Madhavan’s character, Ajay Sanyal, an Indian intelligence officer.
Dhurandhar theatrically released on December 5, 2025.
