Joy Taylor Says She Used Dating Apps for Sex During Pande…

Joy Taylor went straight to dating apps while seeking physical intimacy during COVID-19 quarantine.

The sports reporter recounted her time dating during lockdown in Los Angeles on the Tuesday (Dec. 9) episode of her podcast Two Personal Show.

At the start of the episode, Taylor shared her previous apprehension of joining exclusive dating app Raya but said she ultimately found someone on the platform.

“It was during COVID. I was trying anything,” she joked, adding that she was a “horny bastard.” “It was a really hard time for me.”

Taylor explained that she learned about the app after watching an actress talk about their experience but refused to “climb mountains” or go to a “photography studio” with her matches.

“So I actually met a Black man on Raya. We dated for four months,” Taylor explained, adding that the man was “really nice.”

But, the sports personality joked, the man’s red flag was that he would wear a device similar to a smartwatch when they had sex.

“I couldn’t do it. I was like, ‘Ain’t no way you got this shit on during sex,'” Taylor continued. “Take that shit off. You’re not counting these calories.”

Taylor didn’t tell the man about her concerns the “several times” he wore the device but now considers it a “solvable ick.”

The former Fox Sports host frequently uses her platform to discuss dating and relationships; last month, she went viral for her take on fathers who consider children their “legacy.”

“I think it’s great to want a family and to pass things on and recipes and all that. I think all this stuff is great. It’s not for me,” Taylor said on Two Personal Show. “And I think that if you aren’t actually building a family and you’re just making children so that in your brain your genes live on because you think you’re special, it’s fucking nuts. That is not a legacy. And it’s total bullshit.”
