Zarah Sultana ‘will stand outside prison until Palestine Action hunger striker is treated’

Zarah Sultana has declared that she will stand outside a Surrey prison until a Palestine Action activist who is on hunger strike is taken to hospital.
The Your Party MP said she was “not going anywhere” until HMP Bronzefield in Ashford transferred Qesser Zuhrah to hospital.
Ms Sultana has been outside the prison since 3am on Wednesday and has posted several photographs and videos on social media from outside the premises.
She wrote on X that she had contacted David Lammy, the Justice Secretary, and Wes Streeting, the Health Secretary, urging them to take action over the 20-year-old.
Ms Sultana said “if she dies, it will be on their hands”, and said there was a risk of her death if Mr Lammy did not allow an ambulance on site.
Sharing a photograph of herself alongside 12 other activists, several wearing keffiyehs, she said: “We’re not going anywhere until HMP Bronzefield accept an ambulance transfer for Qesser to get the emergency healthcare she urgently needs.”
