THE M606 has been closed in both directions following a crash on the motorway.
Drivers have been warned of a 20-minute delay after traffic was halted.

The incident occurred today before 12.30pm near the Staygate Roundabout, Bradford.
Traffic has been restricted from junction 2 Merrydale Road, Euroway Trading Estates, until junction 3, A6177 Rooley Lane, where the roundabout is located.
National Highways has released an update on X, former Twitter, warning of possible delays.
The post read: “M606 near Bradford is closed – northbound between J1 and J3 and southbound J2-J1.

“This is due to a collision and damaged lamp column.
“Delays of approx. 20 mins both ways on the approach.”
The traffic is currently being diverted to local roads, according to the agency.
