Rumours have spread like wildfire that a former Premier League ace is ‘dating’ Hollywood A-Lister Sydney Sweeney after she had been ‘flooded with DMs’

Christian Pulisic has spoken out on rumours he is in an alleged relationship with Hollywood A-Lister Sydney Sweeney.
The former Chelsea man, 27, is currently lighting up Serie A with AC Milan, but it has been reported that the America international has sparked up a relationship with Sweeney, 28.
The alleged romance was first reported by Gazzetta dello Sport after rumours were started by an Instagram account that a relationship was beginning to blossom between the USA star and Hollywood sensation.

But Pulisic has since appeared to rubbish the rumours, posting on his Instagram: “Please stop with the made up stories about my personal life. Need to hold sources accountable it can affect people’s lives.”
He also commented on another social media post which shared the rumour, adding: “Fake news guys let’s stop with the silly rumor”.
The Serie A star has always maintained discretion regarding his private life, but Pulisic has occasionally appeared alongside golfer Alexa Melton.

On Melton’s Instagram account, there is a picture of the two dating back to October 2024. There have been no uploads featuring Pulisic since but the picture remains on her official account.
Meanwhile, it was reported earlier this year that Sweeney had been inundated with DMs from Premier League stars. While Pulisic no longer appears in England’s top-flight, the two may be aware of each other through their shared nationality.
The Euphoria and White Lotus star dated producer Jonathan Davino in 2018 with the pair getting engaged four years later.

However, their engagement ended when they split earlier this year. Since then, Sweeney has reported rejected advances from Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal stars.
According to The Sun, a source said in the summer that Sweeney has been casually dating in America. “Her Instagram DMs are packed with messages from famous men trying to get in contact with her.
“It’s mostly guys playing for teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.

“They offer her trips to Europe to see them and take her on a date, but she’s not the kind of person who does that.
“Some of them are very insistent and have even tried to find her address to send her flowers, but she always refuses.
“I’d say more than 100 people, from celebs to millionaires or very rich people from the Middle East and Asia, contact her every month.”
Pulisic joined AC Milan in 2023 after spending four inconsistent years at Stamford Bridge. Since his switch, the forward has stepped up his output, scoring 41 goals and notching 25 assists and counting in 114 games in Milan, compared to just 26 goals and 21 assists in 145 games for the Blues.
