“SNL” star Chloe Fineman posts photo gallery of her ‘botched’ med spa procedures

Chloe Fineman is sharing her hilarious New Year’s resolution with the world.
On Sunday, the Saturday Night Live star treated fans to a glimpse at the embarrassing side of her photo gallery. The post cycled through several photos of Fineman, with many featuring her swollen or bruised face, recovering from various treatments at the med spa.
“Every year, hundreds of women will say they’re going on a trip or visiting family in Connecticut,” Fineman narrated in a voiceover. “But really, they’ll be going ham at a med spa doing crazy s— like laser stuff, salmon j—, sculptra plaster or whatever the hell this was.”
She continued, “These women will hide themselves away in caves like bears while taking hundreds of selfies like this they’ll send to friends and family who will lie and say, ‘It’s not that bad.’ This year, I pledge to stop the cycle.”

Fineman then quipped, “Just kidding, I’m going Friday.”
She captioned the post with even more humor, writing “Can we normalize having a “Botched” iPhone photo album?”
Down in the comments section, Fineman received plenty of praise from friends and fans alike. Comedian Annie Sertich wrote, “I’ll never forget when you sent me a selfie and said… ‘Do you think I can still perform tonight at The Groundlings? It’s not that bad.'”
Fineman is well-versed when it comes to finding the humor in cosmetic procedures gone wrong. Back in 2022, she told Refinery29 that her very first Botox treatment was courtesy of a Groupon — and didn’t go quite as she expected.
“In the pandemic, I got it for the first time,” she told the outlet. “I was like, ‘Great, I’m home for 6 months, it’s the time.’ The guy did way too much. I did it on a Groupon, which was stupid. I snuck out of the house and didn’t tell my boyfriend. Now, I don’t really get it anymore because I don’t want my face to be frozen.”
She also shared her experience getting Fraxel, a laser skin treatment. “I looked like that fire scene in Little Rascals,” she joked. “I had to cancel a show at The Groundlings because I was going to scare people.”

Fineman has continued her candid approach to discussing the ups and downs of the med spa experience. Speaking to Into The Gloss in April 2024 about her beauty routine, the comedian admitted that, for better or worse, med spas have become a big part of her skincare approach.
“I’m in my thirties, which means I’m at peak med spa mistake age,” she shared. “It all turned dark during COVID. When they lifted enough restrictions in LA, I was like ‘This is the time to get Botox, because no one will see me for probably six months.’ But then I couldn’t lift my forehead until right when we came back to work—and for comedy and acting, you want to be able to move your face.”

She referenced the Fraxel incident, sharing that she “couldn’t leave the house for seven days” afterwards and said that on a separate occasion she tried to get a subtle change done on her lips, only for them to drastically swell while recovering.
She quipped, “Every six months, I feel like I tell [my makeup artist] Marc Reagan, ‘Sorry, I made a mistake. Whoops.'”
