Elijah Sarratt NFL Draft Projection: Where Indiana Receiver Could Land

Elijah Sarratt was a little-known receiver from northern Virginia when he committed to play FCS football for St. Francis (PA) in 2022.

The 22-year-old is now an All-Big Ten wide receiver who’s expected to be drafted during the first two days of the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft.

Elijah Sarratt In the NFL Draft

Sarratt’s college career spans 50 games across three Div. I conferences, giving him a lot of experience to pull from as a professional football player.

After transferring to JMU in 2023, he had one of the best years of his career, recording 82 catches for eight touchdowns and nearly 1,200 yards.

When Curt Cignetti left Harrisonburg to coach the Hoosiers, Sarratt was one of several players who followed him. He was named to the All-Big Ten second team in 2024 and the third team in 2025.

Sarratt has good instincts and a nice 6’2” frame. He’s been coached by Cignetti for three years. He’s likely to succeed in the pros.

Elijah Sarratt NFL Draft Projection

I am projecting Elijah Sarratt will be drafted in the middle of the second round.

One potential landing spot is the Patriots, who could be picking in this general zone and are in need of a receiver.

Elijah Sarratt Mock Draft

Plenty of teams need receivers. But since this draft is full of several good ones, and many teams have more pressing needs to address with their first-round draft capital, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Sarratt isn’t the top receiver prospect available at the start of Day 2.

PFF has Sarratt graded as the No. 38 prospect, but I see him falling in the draft closer to the middle of the second round because of the glut of receiver talent.

Two teams in the AFC North – the Bills and Patriots – are both playoff teams that could be drafting between 35 and 45. Both need to add new talent to their receiver room.

I think Sarratt is most likely to be drafted by one of these teams.
