A Loose Women panellist appears remarkably different in a throwback photograph from a decade ago.
The viral social media phenomenon dubbed “2026 is the new 2016” has prompted people to scroll through their archives, searching for images or clips that best encapsulate their lives ten years prior.
From famous faces to everyday users, people across social media have been embracing the trend, describing 2026 as the new 2016 through their nostalgic posts.
Kaye Adams, GK Barry, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore participated in the trend during Friday’s episode (January 16) of the ITV daytime programme.
The four presenters unearthed photographs from 2016, with fan favourite GK, whose real name is Grace Keeling, looking strikingly different.

The social media star can be seen striking a pose in front of her mirror for a selfie taken when she was 16.
With her dark hair styled in a bun and wearing spectacles, the now 26 year old former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! contestant bears little resemblance to her current blonde-haired appearance.
In the image, Grace wore ripped black skinny jeans paired with a khaki jumper and a black parka jacket.

Nadia, Kaye, and Jane also revealed throwback images from ten years ago, with Jane pictured alongside the late Dame Barbara Windsor on the day she received her MBE, and Nadia sporting a blue wig backstage at Loose Women.
Kaye posted a festive photograph of herself and colleague Nadia in matching outfits. Competition presenter Jeff Brazier also joined the trend, sharing a holiday photograph of himself with his sons on a beach in St Kitts.
Bobby and Freddie Brazier are also part of the changes. This follows the ITV show’s return in 2026 without a studio audience.
After hundreds of job losses, ITV’s restructuring has fully taken effect, with the broadcaster relocating shows from their former west London studios to a more compact space in Covent Garden, which lacks room for an audience.
Loose Women is broadcast on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX
