For months, fans of Bravo’s Summer House have been speculating that Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula’s marriage was on the rocks. On Monday, the couple confirmed in Batula’s Instagram Story that they had chosen to end their relationship. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” they wrote. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”
“It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter,” the statement, which was signed by “Amanda & Kyle,” continued.

Cooke and Batula’s nearly decade-long relationship has been chronicled on the reality series since it began in 2017. Batula, now 34, first made an appearance on Summer House’s debut season as Cooke’s on-again, off-again girlfriend. Cooke, an entrepreneur and seltzer enthusiast, proposed in 2018. In 2021 (to the dismay of a few worried friends), they wed at Batula’s parents’ home in New Jersey.

For fans of the show, the news of their separation will not come as a surprise. The couple have been through their fair share of issues over the years, including during the third season of the series in 2019, when Cooke confessed to cheating on Batula while he was drunk. He has also gotten in squabbles with Batula’s friends and fellow castmates (see: the Great Seltzer War of 2025). I think we can all agree the writing has been on the wall for these two for a long time, and I’m excited to see Batula, a swimsuit designer with great taste and one of the most relatable women on Bravo, thrive on the other side.
