Rangers vs Ludogorets kick-off, date & TV info
Date Thursday, January 22
Kick-off 8pm
Venue Ibrox, Glasgow
Competition Europa League
TV TNT Sports 2
Rangers’ final home game of a miserable Europa League campaign is against Ludogorets Razgrad, a match which means far more to the Bulgarians than it does to Danny Rohl’s Light Blues.
The Gers have just one point to show from six previous run-outs in this competition though a win – as meaningless as it might seem – would extend their winning streak to seven heading into Sunday’s Premiership clash with Dundee.

Rangers vs Ludogorets preview
Calls for Danny Rohl to keep his powder dry for Dundee on Sunday may go partially unheeded with a strong-enough Rangers side capable of seeing off rusty Ludogorets at Ibrox.
Rangers’ Europa League campaign has been little short of shocking with one point from their first six games.
But signing off their home campaign – their last game is at Porto next Thursday – with a win would continue the feelgood factor heading into the weekend’s weightier assignment in the Premiership.
And having won six on the spin under Rohl it is not as though they are strangers to success, all of which is a far cry from the desperate, barren days of Russell Martin.
Rohl has a big enough squad now to enable him to make changes, especially with three new signings poised to play against Dundee, none of whom are eligible against Ludogorets.
Rangers have to be confident whereas Ludogorets, the reigning Bulgarian champions but third in this season’s table and a distance behind Levski, could well be match-short.
They have not played since the middle of December, will not play their next league game until next month, are flying in straight from a training camp in Turkey and are missing a pair of their Swedish – and better – defenders.
They are 23rd in the standings and are confident, therefore, of reaching the playoffs – they sign off at home to Nice, who are bottom.
But they have conceded 14 goals in six league-stage games – only one other side has shipped more. Back Rangers to take advantage.
Almeida a player to note
Ludogorets’ centre-back Dinis Almeida picked up two yellow cards in his last four league games before the winter break, plus saw yellow at Fenerbahce in the Europa League, and can put himself about.
Sam’s the man to pan Oliver’s army
Both teams have scored in seven of Ludogorets’ eight Europa League ties, and both teams have scored in the first half of three of those. They can attack but they can’t defend so this could well yield early goals.
Rangers vs Ludogorets Bet Builder
Over 5.5 Rangers Corners
Rangers average six corners per home game in the Premiership and won eight at home to Braga in their last Europa League home tie.
Peter Stanic 1+ shots on Target
Six-goal Peter Stanic is Ludogorets’ best attacking threat and the classy attacking midfielder can at least get one effort on target at Ibrox.
Over 2.5 Goals
Ludogorets’ matches in this competition average 4.2 goals a time, so this tussle in Glasgow can yield at least three.
