Ilia Topuria Rips ‘Little Sausage’ Paddy Pimblett, Says Justin Gaethje Is ‘Screwed No Matter What’

UFC lightweight star Ilia Topuria wasn’t convinced by the main event of UFC 324, which crowned an interim champion for the division.
Justin Gaethje won a unanimous decision over Paddy Pimblett to close out the show. Topuria followed the action and ran down both fighters on social media.
He called Pimblett a “little sausage” who “just lost the biggest paycheck of your life.” He then asserted Gaethje is “screwed no matter what” when they meet head-to-head in the Octagon:
Topuria became the lightweight champion last June after knocking out Charles Oliveira in the first round at UFC 317. He moved up a weight class after dominating the featherweight division.
The 29-year-old has yet to defend his lightweight title, though. He said in November he didn’t plan to fight in the first quarter of 2026, citing “a difficult moment in my personal life.”
A month later, Topuria called attention to what he described as “severe and unacceptable pressure” over “false allegations” regarding his absence.
Based on Sunday morning’s post, the German is itching to get back inside the cage.
Gaethje, for his part, stated his desire to stage a title unification fight at the UFC event taking place at the White House in June.
