RUTH Langsford has revealed the “real reason” she’s releasing a tell-all memoir after splitting from her ex-husband Eamonn Holmes.
The former This Morning host, 65, split from broadcaster and former co-star Eamonn, 66, in June 2024 after 16 years of marriage.

She announced the upcoming memoir just as news broke that Eamonn had purchased a plush new pad with girlfriend Katie Alexander, 44.
But as the release date draws ever closer Ruth is hoping that her memoir, titled Ruth Langsford Feeling Fabulous, helps her to “draw a line under” the break up.
Speaking about the book, a source told The Mirror that Ruth’s memoir will detail “the ups, the downs and the lessons that have shaped her”.
They continued: “This is really all about the timing. It’s no accident that Ruth announced the book days after the news of Eamonn’s new love nest broke.

“But Ruth isn’t about being bitter – she’s about empowering herself and is feeling really good at the minute.
“She wants to draw a line under everything with Eamonn, officially and emotionally. The book is her way of doing that.”
Following the split, Ruth and Eamonn have kept a low profile and haven’t spoken about one another publicly.
But once Ruth’s memoir drops on February 26, her “experiences” will be out in the world.
Penning a post to Instagram about the release next month, Ruth shared: “NOT LONG NOW… Can’t believe that 2026 is the year I publish my first book! I’m very excited but also a little nervous…
“These are stories about my life, the ups and the downs, the good and the not so good but everything that has made me the woman I am today.
“I share the experiences that have shaped me and the lessons I’ve learned along the way.
“Publication day is 26th February but you can pre order a copy now (and a limited number of signed copies are available too).

Ruth and Eamonn started dating in 1997 after meeting through mutual friends.
They got married in 2010 in a ceremony at Elvetham Hall in Hampshire.
Shortly after their split Eamonn quickly moved on to date Katie, who is a relationship counsellor.
