Sicko ex-teacher proposed conniving way to hide predatory affair with teen student after 3-hour sex marathon

Married ex-high school teacher McKenna Kindred suggested that she and a teenage student she was sexually abusing should start using Snapchat to hide their X-rated chats, according to court docs.

“Hm next time I need to relearn Snapchat haha,” Kindred, now 27, texted the 17-year-old boy at one point during their tryst, which began when Kindred was his educator at Central Valley High School in Spokane, Washington.

The conniving message came after the pair had already engaged in a depraved three-and-a-half-hour sex marathon at Kindred’s marital home in November 2022 — while her oblivious husband was away on a hunting trip.

“Mom glad I can satisfy you,” the teen kicked off the text thread.

After the teacher liked the message, the boy asked if she used a sex toy while thinking about him.

“I did,” she creepily replied.

“U should have video it and save it,” the teen responded, prompting Kindred to propose that he teach her how to use Snapchat the next time they meet up.

The social media platform is popular for allowing users to send photos and videos — or “snaps” — that disappear after viewing.

By that point, the pair had already exchanged a series of racy text messages, pictures and videos on social media for months, dating back to when the teen found Kindred’s Instagram account in June 2022, according to court docs.

“When other girls talk about you in my class I could feel myself getting mad,” she wrote in one message.

As rumors about McKenna’s abuse of the boy eventually began to spread around the school, the teen’s friends shared screenshots of the racy messages with school officials in December 2022.

The school district placed Kindred on administrative leave, before she resigned in 2023.

She pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual misconduct — for which she avoided jail time, but was ordered to serve two years of probation, pay $700 in fines and register as a sex offender for a decade.

During her sentencing, Kindred sobbed while apologizing to the teen in court.  KHQ

“I know this past year has been incredibly difficult for all involved. As a result of my actions, I’ve lost my career, valuable friendships, freedoms and have let down countless people who placed their trust in me,” she said.

The victim’s mother, Ashley Beckley, claimed at her sentencing that Kindred began to groom her son when he was 16, and her “abuse of power” made him unable to finish school on campus — affecting his social, emotional and academic well-being.

“A light he used to carry has been dimmed,” she said.

Three months later, Kindred and her head-scratchingly devoted husband relocated hundreds of miles away to Idaho.

It’s unclear whether the disgraced educator has worked since voluntarily surrendering her teaching license following an Idaho Standards Commission probe.
