Did Whitney Leavitt’s ‘SLOMW’ Cast Watch Her Broadway Debut?

She’s not Whitney Leavitt anymore, at least not onstage. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in Chicago on Monday night, and based on the eagle eyes of TikTok, it looks like she was a hit. The official Chicago page posted a few clips of Leavitt’s performance, and her fans are raving about her rendition of Roxie, while some of the discourse is eerily reminiscent of her time on Dancing With the Stars. “When she was good at dancing they said it was favoritism and now when she’s good at singing they say it’s lip syncing, at a certain point it’s okay to just say she’s talented,” a fan commented in Leavitt’s defense. To be fair, not many comments criticized her performance. But even without drama from fans, did the SLOMW season-three tension follow her to the stage?

Thankfully, for the cast of Mormon Wives, we didn’t have to relive the CMAs drama. It seemed like basically everyone from MomTok came to support Leavitt. Even Jen Affleck, who was apparently feuding with her during their time on DWTS, came out for her on the big day, went to the after-party and joined in on a big group hug. As for Demi Engemann, who isn’t really in MomTok but is still close to Leavitt, she wasn’t in attendance but she did share a photo of herself and Leavitt and wished her luck. Was it enough, or is it déjà vu from the season-two reunion? That’s up to MomTok to decide.
