2 teens charged in Tinseltown movie theater shooting

Gates, N.Y. — Two men face charges following a shooting outside the Cinemark Tinseltown Rochester and IMAX movie theater last spring.

Officers responded to 911 calls reporting gunshots shortly after 1 a.m. on April 25 and found two male victims with gunshot wounds.

Gates police said the shooting happened after a movie let out and appeared to be targeted, with both victims suffering non-life-threatening injuries. The suspects fled the scene.

Javeon Jackson-Grisham and Beau Brown, both 19, were arrested Friday, according to police.

Both suspects were charged with assault and reckless endangerment. They were taken to the Monroe County Jail. No further information has been released.
