Preview: Swansea City (A)

Bristol City head to South Wales to face Swansea City on Saturday, February 21st (12.30pm).

The Robins are currently unbeaten in their last two outings after Max Bird’s 89th-minute volley earned a point at home to Wrexham in midweek, while the Swans head into the fixture off the back of a 2-0 away defeat to Derby County.

City will be looking to secure a league double over Swansea after a 3-0 victory at Ashton Gate earlier this season thanks to goals from Rob Dickie, Emil Riis and Yu Hirakawa while Swansea will be looking to continue their impressive home form which has seen them win six of their last seven home league games.

Gerhard Struber will be hoping to have Ross McCrorie available after missing Tuesday night’s draw with Wrexham with concussion while Adam Randell is a doubt after being forced off in second half against the Red Dragons.

Away tickets and coach travel have sold out to away supporters with nearly 2,500 Reds heading to the Swansea.com Stadium and overseas supporters can watch all the action live on Robins TV.

Match passes are available for just £10 as Leroy Rosenior is joined in the studio by Louis Carey, with pre-match build-up commencing at 12pm.

Our Opponents: Swansea City

After a slow start to the season which saw Swansea City sit in 18th position, Head Coach Alan Sheehan departed the club before being replaced by Portuguese Head Coach Vítor Matos 13 days later.

While only moving up to 16th place, the Swans faithful have been impressed by recent home form as no Championship side has picked up more home points since December.

January reinforcements came in the shape of Joel Ward on a free transfer after departing Crystal Palace in the summer of 2025, while loan deals were secured for Gustavo Nunes and Leo Walta from Brentford and Swedish side Sirius respectively.
