Collisions causing traffic issues across region Monday morning

Emergency crews across the region are busy this morning.

There was a multi-vehicle collision on County Road 49 in Prince Edward County between Bethesda and Lower High Shore Roads, north of the cement plant around 7:30.

Traffic is getting through but is moving slowly.

There are also traffic issues in the area of South John and South Paul Street in Belleville where a person has reportedly been struck by a train.

The call came in a little before 8 a.m.

Traffic may be slow in the area of Dundas Street East and South Foster where a car reportedly struck a hydro pole just before 8 a.m.

And an excavator has reportedly taken down a power line on Dufferin Avenue in the area of Coulter Crescent.

That happened around 7:45 a.m.

There are no details on any possible injuries related to any of the incidents.
