Report: AJ Styles signs a new deal with WWE

When AJ Styles put his gloves back on after GUNTHER killed his WWE career at Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, I figured it was just a matter of time until The Phenomenal One was working some matches in TNA or AEW. But he’s made it very clear this week that he is retired for good (unless maybe his children become wrestlers).
WWE capped off his career with a special tribute on this week’s Raw in Atlanta, which included The Undertaker announcing that AJ will join Stephanie McMahon in WWE’s Hall of Fame Class of 2026. Now, multiple sources tell PW Insider that Styles and WWE have reached an agreement on a new contract. He will contribute to WWE in a behind-the-scenes role in talent development on the new deal.
Styles has publicly said that he’ll be working with WWE going forward and dreams of helping young talent, so this new report lines up with all of that.
Do you think AJ will be phenomenal in his new role with WWE? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
