Gov. Evers declares State of Emergency

Heavy snowfall is set to impact much of Wisconsin this weekend – with several parts of the state under Blizzard warnings. With this in mind, Wisconsin’s Governor Tony Evers has declared a State of Emergency.
“As we prepare for significant snowfall that could impact much of our state, we’re urging Wisconsinites to be careful and plan ahead. Make sure you get stocked up on what you need, prepare for potential power outages, and have access to weather information from a trusted source,” the Governor said, via a release.
The order lasts through Monday, March 16, and calls on first responders to be ready, including members of the Wisconsin National Guard.
“The state will continue our work to prepare and stands ready to assist and support folks and local partners across our state.”
