Availability report: 5-Stripes have just two players officially out as they host D.C. United

One thing the 5-Stripes will never take for granted is good health. So far in the 2026 season, they’ve had it. Just three players are listed on Friday’s availability report, with two officially being out for Saturday’s contest against D.C. United.

Will Reilly is continuing the recovery process for his hamstring injury, and Sergio Santos is an addition to the report with an illness. Meanwhile, it’s Juan Berrocal’s second time being named as he is still in question with a hamstring injury. The Spanish center back pulled up in training last week.

Jay Fortune, who is officially off the report and back from his long-term foot injury, plans to play another half with Atlanta United 2 as he did last weekend. That’s according to head coach Tata Martino, who spoke at Thursday’s media availability. The midfielder is nearing a highly anticipated First Team return.

“I went through about three days of both fear and excitement,” Fortune said of the lead up to his match with the 2s last Sunday. “… It was great. Had the butterflies, had the excitement, had the enjoyment of going through it. Those are all things, as a footballer, that you want to feel.”
