It looks like Penta’s open challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship on Monday Night Raw has been answered.

The March 30 edition of Raw takes place at the famous Madison Square Garden, with Penta issuing a challenge for anyone who wants to face him for the Intercontinental Title.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW WILL BE A SCORCHER 👊🏻

Penta’s road to Wrestlemania is ON! #0m

It appears a challenge has let himself be known, and it is four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, Kofi Kingston.

Kingston wrote:

No se diga mas, cabron. I would love nothing more than to walk into the depths of Hell (New York) and pry the Holy Grail (IC Title) from the vile grips of the Devil himself (Penta).

See you tomorrow, amigo.

The official WWE social media page reposted Kingston’s message, seemingly confirming this match is the plan.

New Day member Kofi Kingston has been without his teammate Xavier Woods recently due to a Woods shoulder injury, and has taken an interest in becoming a mentor of Je’Von Evans.

Kingston;’s relationship with Grayson Waller has become rocky to say the least, with Kingston pulling Waller in front of a Danhausen curse a couple of weeks ago.

Will Kofi Kingston Beat Penta For The WWE Intercontinental Championship?

It seems very unlikely that Kofi Kingston will win the Intercontinental Title from Penta on WWE Raw at Madison Square Garden.

Penta only won the title from Dominik Mysterio a few weeks ago, and actually already has a future defense lined up against El Hijo Del Vikingo in AAA on April 11.

However, there could be some news coming out of the match if Kingston continues going in the direction of a possible babyface turn which we’ve seen signs of in recent weeks.

A respectful match between Kingston and Penta could further push things in that direction.
