They continue their three-game series against the Seattle Mariners in the week-long road trip.
In the series opener, the Yankees dropped their first game of a season in a 2-1 loss on Monday night in Seattle.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh hit a walk-off RBI single off of Yankees’ relief pitcher Paul Blackburn to give Seattle their third victory of the season.
The Yankees will now look to tie the series prior to their home opener at Yankee Stadium on Friday, Apr. 3.

It’s a battle of aces on the mound at T-Mobile Park.
The Yankees will have their ace Max Fried back on the bump. Fried, a three-time All-Star, was sharp in his opening out of the season, as he threw six shutout innings and struck out four in the Yankees’ 7-0 winning over the San Francisco Giants on Opening Day.
Logan Gilbert didn’t have nearly the same sucess as Fried did. While Seattle’s star pitcher had seven strikeouts, he surrendered three runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings in a 6-4 loss to the Cleveland Guardians in their Opening Day game.
