MJF On A Mick Foley Return: “We Sat Down And Had A Discussion. I Still Think He’s A B*tch, But Maybe He Can Make A Comeback”

MJF revealed that he and Mick Foley sat down and had a discussion about what a Foley comeback would look like, but still called Foley “a bitch,” speaking on Late Night Grin with Joe Hulbert.

When asked about Foley flirting with the idea of returning to wrestling, MJF confirmed there has been a real conversation. “Look, he’s talked about it openly. We sat down and we had a discussion of what that would look like. It was a very good talk,” MJF said.

But MJF could not resist taking a shot at Foley anyway. “I still think he’s a bitch, but if whatever tirzepatide peptide he’s on allows him to lose some more weight, maybe he can still make a comeback. We’ll see what happens.”

MJF was also quick to clarify that he is always thinking about how he could create memorable moments with any wrestler he meets, not just have great matches. “I wouldn’t just look at those guys and be like, you know, they’ll be a great match. I’m thinking, what would be my material? What would be the moment that I could make?”

The conversation came up after MJF was asked which era he would most want to be inserted into. MJF picked the Attitude Era for the depth of talking talent. “The level of competition of guys that could talk, forget the wrestling. For me to have been able to go back and forth on the stick with The Rock or with Steve Austin or Mick Foley or Shawn. There’s just so much money there.”

AEW Dynasty 2026 takes place this Sunday, April 12 in Vancouver, British Columbia. MJF defends the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega in the main event. The card also features Jon Moxley (c) vs. Will Ospreay for the AEW Continental Championship, FTR (c) (with Stokely) vs. Cope and Cage (Adam Copeland and Christian Cage) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Thekla (c) vs. Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s World Championship, Andrade El Idolo vs. Darby Allin (with a future AEW World Championship match on the line if Allin wins), and Alex Windsor vs. Marina Shafir on the pre-show.
