Man found shot dead inside wrecked car in Prince George’s County

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — An investigation is underway after a man was found mortally wounded by gunfire inside a vehicle that crashed in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on Friday afternoon.
According to the Prince George’s County Police Department, officers were called around 4:40 p.m. April 10 to the 4700 block of Branch Avenue for reports of a crash involving a single vehicle.
When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a man who had apparently been injured by a gunshot inside the vehicle. He was then pronounced dead at the scene.

The police department said they’re working to find out what led to the fatal shooting.
