Mo’ Bettahs closes all restaurant locations in Kansas City metro

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (KCTV) – A fast food chain closes all locations after just four years in the Kansas City metro.
Mo’ Bettahs opened its first location in the Kansas City area in 2022. It grew and opened multiple restaurants on both sides of the state line, including Blue Springs, Lee’s Summit, Liberty and Overland Park.
The Utah-based chain serves Hawaiian-style food and positioned itself as an alternative to Hawaiian Bros.

A notice posted on doors of at least two Kansas City-area locations said the company ” enjoyed our time in the Kansas City area but have made the difficult decision to close our doors.
The notice also said the final day of operation was April 10th.
The Kansas City-area locations have also been removed from the company’s website.
Mo’ Bettahs continues to operate dozens of locations in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Texas, and Oklahoma.
