Driver arrested after police find truck stolen from Chilliwack in Abbotsford

A 36-year-old woman is facing criminal charges after a truck stolen from Chilliwack was spotted in Abbotsford.
According to a social media post from the Abbotsford Police Department, a member of the public called police on Saturday afternoon (April 11) after recognizing the vehicle from social media.
Officers found the vehicle in west Abbotsford and followed it with support from the the Air 1 Police Helicopter. Police arrested the driver once the truck parked and she was transferred into the care of the Chilliwack RCMP.
Per the post, the 36‑year‑old woman is known to police.
