Ole Miss baseball is No. 2 seed in Lincoln Regional for NCAA Tournament

OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball is seeking its first NCAA Tournament regional title since 2022.
Including this season, the Rebels (36-21) have made the NCAA Tournament twice in a row after missing it for two consecutive seasons following a national championship win in 2022.
The Rebels’ path back to another run at a national championship was revealed May 25.
Ole Miss is the No. 2 seed in the Lincoln Regional hosted by Nebraska (42-15). The Cornhuskers are the No. 13 overall seed.
Ole Miss will face No. 3 Arizona State (37-19) in the first round of the regional on May 29 (8 p.m., ESPN2). South Dakota State (24-31) is the No. 4 team in the regional.
The Lincoln Regional is paired with the Auburn Regional. The winners of the two regionals will face off in super regionals. The Tigers are the No. 4 overall seed.

Ole Miss baseball NCAA Tournament history under Mike Bianco
Ole Miss coach Mike Bianco has led Ole Miss to the NCAA Tournament in 19 of his 25 seasons leading the program. The Rebels have reached super regionals eight times and made it to the College World Series twice.
Bianco led the Rebels to a national championship in 2022. The Rebels were the last team in the NCAA Tournament field but went on an incredible run to beat Oklahoma and earn the national title.

- Regionals: Friday, May 29 through Monday, June 1
- Super Regionals: Friday, June 5 through Monday, June 8
- College World Series: Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 21 or Monday, June 22
- CWS finals: Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21 or Monday, June 22
