Watch Strictly’s sexiest EVER rumba as judges gush over Karen Hauer and Gladiator star’s sizzling ‘chemistry’
STRICTLY Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer and Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey were praise for their sizzling “chemistry” in a Rumba routine fans branded “hot.”
The duo tackled the sultry ballroom dance, which has its origins in Cuba, on Saturday night’s live episode.

Yet while their efforts during Strictly‘s week four saw them with a score of 26, and positioned joint-third from bottom of the leaderboard, the judges gushed over their “sensuality.”
Karen, 43, and Harry, 37, donned matching navy blue outfits for their routine to Roxette hit It Must Have Been Love, with the BBC professional’s dress featuring a thigh high split.
Harry meanwhile left his shirt unbuttoned to flash his washboard abs, which Karen stroked during their raunchy routine.
During the judge’s comments it became clear they were hugely impressed by the pair’s connection.

Motsi Mabuse said: “I think you did really well with your partnering skills.
“I think you were there for her. She was up, down, left, right – we saw her flying and that’s a talent that you have to learn and feel.
“Yes we could have had a bit more transferring weight to make it softer, but can we all speak about the chemistry!”
The audience let out a cheer before she added: “It was hot!”
Motsi and head judge Shirley Ballas then burst into fits of giggles as host Tess Daly said: “I don’t know what you’ve done to this lot, but they’ve gone a bit silly!”
Shirley then gave her take on the action and said: “I agree with Motsi.
“The chemistry and the narrative and the storyline and the sensuality was all there.”
Yet the couple, both of whom have long-term partners, appeared to brush off suggestions of their closeness.
Harry told Claudia Winkleman in the dance de-brief: “I’m no actor, I’m not sensual, I’m quite goofy.
“I had to try and be this…person. It was really challenging, but we’re here to embrace it.”

Strictly first kicked off back in 2004, and over the years has crowned 21 winners.
Venezuelan-American dancer Karen, who became a Strictly pro back in 2012, added: “We’re not the sexy type. It feels awkward.”
Yet Strictly’s official Instagram page appeared to suggest differently and wrote in their caption: “The passion, the intent. Harry and Karen’s Rumba had us totally transfixed.”
One fan was quick to gush: “Absolutely incredible.”
A second put: “Hot! Way undermarked!”
A third commented: “Yes you could work on fluidity but I really enjoyed the chemistry, very sultry.”
One then mused: “Always feel for the real life partners when the judges/hosts swoon about the chemistry – they don’t give any thought to partners or bring them in to the process which is insensitive to say the least.”
DARING DANCE
Another partnership which turned up the heat on Saturday was that of Nikita Kuzmin and Amber Davies.
Love Island star Amber, who had revealed a last minute change to her routine before going on stage, appeared to “kiss” her professional partner during their steamy Argentine Tango.
The pair took to the dance floor to perform the routine to to JADE’s Angel Of My Dreams.
Those watching at home thought they saw the pair locking lips – thanks to clever camera work and acting.
Nevertheless they shared their worries over the Strictly curse striking the two.
One fan took to X to write: “These 2… strictly curse? Or great acting?”
Someone else penned: “I hate the whole “Strictly curse” but I fear it has potential to strike ALOT this year.”
Amber is in a happy relationship with fellow musical theatre star Ben Joyce.
