Vanderbilt Hosts Virginia Thursday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt men’s basketball welcomes Virginia to Memorial Gymnasium for an exhibition contest at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Commodores feature returning veterans Devin McGlockton, Tyler Nickel and Tyler Tanner while welcoming eight transfers and three freshmen. Virginia is set to debut a new look under first-year head coach Ryan Odom.
The exhibition will feature an NBA-style contest with four 12-minute quarters. In addition, fans can look forward to unique experiences like head coach Mark Byington mic’d up during the game, behind-the-scenes halftime access, a one-of-a-kind opportunity to impact the score via on-court challenges and family-friendly entertainment prior to tipoff.
The only way to catch the early glimpse at the 2025-26 Commodores is to be in Memorial Gymnasium Thursday night as the exhibition will not be streamed. All tickets for the preseason contest are $10. Men’s basketball season ticket holders will receive their same seat(s), included as part of the season ticket package.
Free parking will be available in the 25th Avenue Garage.
