Aitch has opened up about his emotional reason for taking part in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, and admitted that he has a habit which may got on the ‘nerves’ of his fellow campmates.

The rapper, who hails from Moston, is among the 10 famous faces heading into the jungle this year as the ITV reality show returns this Sunday (November 16).

As well as Aitch, model Kelly Brook, former England Lionesses footballer Alex Scott and TV personality Jack Osbourne are also among the stars taking part in this year’s edition of the Ant and Dec-fronted show.

The I’m A Celeb 2025 line-up is completed by comedian Ruby Wax, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, social media star Morgan Burtwistle, who is known as Angryginge, EastEnders’ Shona McGarty, comedian Eddie Kadi, and Spandau Ballet star Martin Kemp.

Now, Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, has opened up about signing up to the popular programme to help represent his younger sister, Gracie, who has Down’s syndrome.

The 25-year-old, who is the first rapper to take on I’m A Celeb in over a decade, said: “I feel like there are certain times where, don’t get me wrong, I could be selfish about it. My sister’s good and she always will be, and that is my main concern.

“But at the same time, I’m not just doing it for people with Down’s syndrome, I’m doing it for people around them as well. I don’t want anyone to be disheartened if they do find out someone in the family has Down’s syndrome.”

He added: “It’s a blessing. You’re going to have the best time of your life as long as you’re spending it with that person.”

But he may not make things easy for his fellow campmates, as he admitted to be quite the snorer. He went on to the publication: “I’m more than a bit of a snorer. That might get on some people’s nerves.

“But to be honest with you, I do go on and off. I believe I didn’t snore on the plane here, which is a first. So I might have entered a new chapter in my life where I’ve stopped. But we’ll find out the hard way.”
