Spoiler on AJ Lee’s Role for WWE Survivor Series Revealed

AJ Lee might finally be making her WWE return, and the timing couldn’t be bigger.

On Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed that AJ Lee is now the expected replacement for Charlotte Flair in this year’s Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. Charlotte turned down the spot, and WWE appears ready to slot AJ into the chaos instead. Alvarez broke down the internal lineup currently being discussed.

“For the women, it’s Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and NOT Charlotte Flair. So it’s expected to be AJ Lee instead of her, against Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka, and Kairi Sane, and someone else as well. Still got people to add.”

What makes this even more interesting is that AJ Lee is also expected to be backstage at Monday Night Raw at Madison Square Garden this week. With Survivor Series on the horizon, a live return could be the moment WWE uses to officially lock her into the match.

AJ hasn’t been seen since the WrestlePalooza Premium Live Event, and her return would instantly become one of the biggest stories of the year for the women’s division. Mixing AJ with Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Alexa Bliss, and a stacked opposing team gives WWE the potential for a WarGames match that blends eras, styles, and huge personalities.

If WWE pulls the trigger, Survivor Series could deliver a historic showdown that fans have been waiting a long time to see.

Would you put AJ Lee in the WarGames match, and who should fill the final spot on the opposing team? Drop your thoughts below and tell us how you’d book this return.
