Dallas turns 3.3% win probability into comeback win

On Sunday, the Cowboys brought to life the beloved meme: “They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.”
Dallas tied a franchise record with their comeback win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, storming back from down 21-0 and reinvigorating Cowboys fans at AT&T Stadium and at home with a spirited second-half effort.
From a tumbling-into-the-end-zone Dak Prescott to a heroic effort by a special teams role player, the Cowboys flipped the script against the Eagles on what initially looked to be a disastrous Sunday evening.

Cowboys comeback from 21-0 to beat the Eagles 24-21.
A monumental win they needed to have — for their season and for their confidence.

Let’s recap shall we?
-> Cowboys played terrible first half.
-> Down 21-0
-> Dak Prescott puts up 24 unanswered points against an Elite Eagles Defense.
-> Dak led a game winning drive.
-> Jalen Hurts did nothing.
Give Dak his respect. Silence all the Eagles Hate 🤫 https://t.co/68X57TxOZt pic.twitter.com/7k5uRAOIdv

Awful, awful half of football for the Cowboys.
Eagles lead 21-0. A Devonta Smith deep ball on 3rd-and-long sets up a Jalen Hurts tush push score to extend the Philly lead.
Nothing going right on either side of the ball. Bright side: still a lot of football left with 11:32 in Q2

The rout is on. Eagles, 21-0. Embarrassing performance by the Cowboys all the way around.

The saddest thing about the Dallas Cowboys is that they just never have enough dawgs, man.
George Pickens has been universally accepted because he brings that energy.
This team continues to wilt, and it’s hard to put a thumb on it for any other reason other than that mentality.

Cowboys are down 21-0 to Eagles. Guess a lopsided win over #Raiders didn’t mean Cowboys are back

Dak. Prescott.
24 unanswered. 300+ yards passing. 3 total TDs. All-time Dallas Cowboys franchise passing leader.
What a win for 4 🔥 pic.twitter.com/tVlU44wIaM

21 unanswered points! George Pickens is the best football player on Earth right now. There’s still a chance that the Dallas Cowboys can make bigger news than the Texas Rangers today. *Developing pic.twitter.com/OZ2u3MEbuT

There’s no question—George Pickens is the reason why the #Cowboys won today.
From 2022-2024, when CeeDee Lamb was not himself, this offense was rutterless. It felt that way in the 2023 playoff loss to Green Bay.
