Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper unexpectedly give first joint interview on New York street

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper are one of Hollywood’s most private couples, only going official on Instagram earlier this year after two years of dating.

Now, they’ve hit another major celebrity couple milestone in the most unexpected way.

The model, 30, and the actor, 50, were practically ambushed into giving their first-ever joint interview by an online content creator on the streets of New York.

David Carmi, host of the video series Confidence Heist, approached Hadid and Cooper as they walked up the stairs to enter a building, seemingly surprising them.

“Excuse me, guys, I think you look really confident. What makes you confident?” Carmi asked as the couple turned to look at him.

“Finding joy,” Hadid said, adding, “I’ve seen your videos, how are ya?”

Carmi then introduced himself to the couple, before addressing Cooper with the same question.

“Being alive,” the Oscar nominee answered.

The creator then asked the couple for “one confidence tip for anyone struggling”.

Hadid responded, “Take it day by day.”

The couple were rugged up against the NYC cold in casual outfits, with Cooper in a puffer jacket and Hadid in a grey coat.

In the comments, viewers praised the duo, especially Hadid, for their warm and polite answers.

“It’s nice that they reacted so well to your presence, and they were willing to answer your questions,” one wrote.

Despite their huge public profiles, Hadid and Cooper largely keep their romance out of the spotlight.

Hadid ‘hard launched’ Cooper on her Instagram in May, including a photo of them kissing in a carousel of photos from her 30th birthday party.

“I feel so lucky to be 30! I feel so lucky for every high and low- for all the lessons and gifts both have brought me. To get to feel it all!” she captioned the post.

“I’m so lucky to be a mum, friend, partner, sister, daughter, colleague to some of the most unbelievable humans … it’s a blessing to feel so loved!!”

The post came one month after the model broke her silence on her romance with Cooper in a Vogue interview.

Hadid said her relationship with the Maestro star was “very romantic and happy.”

“I think just getting to the point where knowing what you want and deserve in a relationship is essential,” she said.

“And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve…and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be. I just feel really lucky.”
