HBO Max Teases ‘Lanterns,’ New Seasons of ‘The Pitt’ and ‘Industry’ in 2026 Preview

HBO Max has unveiled a short trailer for its 2026 TV series slate, with never-been-seen footage from Euphoria, House of the Dragon, Lanterns and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.

“There’s no turning back,” Zendaya as Rue Bennett in Euphoria season 3, while kneeling and praying in a church pew, says at one point in the near-two minute collection of brand spots. In another new clip, Myha’la as Harper Stern in season 4 of Industry declares amid another apparent trading floor confrontation: “Do you know why I do this? Because I enjoy it. And I’m fucking good at it!”

HBO Max also teases never-been-seen footage from The Comeback season 3; Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, to debut next year and appearing as an edgier The Big Bang Theory spinoff; Bill Lawrence’s Steve Carell-starring comedy Rooster and an upcoming untitled Larry David project.

There’s also a brief look at season two of The Pitt, which drops on HBO Max in January.

Elsewhere, legendary comedy director Mel Brooks is seen insisting, “If I can do it, you can do it” in a clip from his 99 Year Old Man two-part documentary, while David on his return to HBO with an untitled sketch comedy series shouts out, ‘I have a really good feeling about this!”

The latest promo comes as HBO Max returns to its roots as HBO, with the promise of the most premium of premium TV to go up against market leaders like Netflix and Prime Video. The streamer cited in a statement on Friday as it unveiled its brand spots, “HBO Max’s commitment to delivering high quality, must-see stories that inspire, entertain and spark conversations around the globe.”

The promotional spots also come as parent Warner Bros. Discovery has become the subject of a bitter-and-likely-prolonged takeover battle between Netflix and Paramount Skydance.
