Troubadour Festival reveals 2026 lineup at new location

BRYAN, Texas — The 2026 Troubadour Festival will bring the best of Texas country music and barbecue to Bryan in March, marking a change from its previous location at Aggie Park.
The weekend-long event will bring headliners Robert Earl Keen and Flatland Cavalry to town for what organizers are calling the state’s biggest barbecue and country music party. The three-day event, running from March 27 to March 29, will take place across several Bryan venues, with the main show scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at Midtown Park.
Festival lineup and schedule
The weekend begins Friday, March 27, with a free pre-party at The Palace Theater in downtown Bryan, featuring American Aquarium and Shelby Stone.
Texas A&M graduate Keen will headline on Saturday, March 28, alongside Flatland Cavalry. The Saturday lineup also includes Waylon Wyatt, Jason Boland & The Stragglers, Tyce Delk, Taylor Hunnicutt, The Kruse Brothers and Julianna Rankin.
Sunday, March 29, concludes with an exclusive BBQ Brunch at The Palace Theater, catered by Bar-A-BBQ and featuring an acoustic set from Jason Boland in honor of the 25th anniversary of Jason Boland & The Stragglers.
BBQ restaurant lineup
Thirty award-winning barbecue restaurants from across Texas will participate, many recognized on Texas Monthly’s Top 50 BBQ Joints list. Several have earned Michelin Guide and James Beard Award honors.
Restaurants will be grouped into five themed showcases: Meat Church & Friends, 44 Farms Beef, Hogs Wild, South of the Border and Wild Card.

“MUSIC” tickets start at $59 and include access to the main stage concert. “BBQ + MUSIC” tickets start at $109 and include unlimited samples from all 30 barbecue establishments plus access to live music on both stages.
“VIP” tickets start at $209 and include one-hour early entry, a VIP-exclusive T-shirt, access to a private area with climate-controlled restrooms, a private cash bar, shaded seating and front-of-stage viewing.
“VIP+” tickets start at $499 and include an additional hour of early entry, exclusive front-of-stage access, a private VIP+ lounge, an open bar and a catered dinner from LJ’s BBQ.
Discounted tickets will be available for active and former military, students, first responders and educators with a valid ID.
Local impact
A portion of the proceeds from the 2025 Troubadour Festival will benefit Hogs for the Cause, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance to families with children undergoing brain cancer treatment. The organization has distributed more than $15 million to families and hospital programs.
