As MAFS UK’s Rebecca goes official with new girlfriend, all the signs you missed she was in a relationship
Married at First Sight UK may be over for another year, but that doesn’t mean the relationship updates are stopping anytime soon as bride Rebecca Fenney has just gone Instagram official with her new girlfriend following the end of her marriage to Bailey.
The MAFS UK cast member and clinic owner shared the heartwarming news she is in a new relationship on her Instagram last night, with a series of photos of her new partner Lily Woodham, captioning the images “Here’s my ‘new love’. My 5ft 4” alpha.” Lily, 25, is a Welsh professional footballer, who currently plays for Liverpool.
Rebecca then also went onto share a video of the pair together singing in a car, with the caption across the video saying “In your 30s a girl will come into your life when you least expect it”.

Rebecca was married to Bailey on the Channel 4 dating show and the pair had a strong relationship throughout the series, and even chose to continue their marriage after the show wrapped filming. However, following the airing of the final episodes of the series back in November, the pair then revealed that since filming had ended earlier this year they had since broken up.
While a lot of MAFS UK fans have been in complete shock at the news Rebecca is in a new relationship, there was actually quite a lot of signs we missed Rebecca was dating someone. Here’s all the evidence we should have picked up on.

She shared an initial necklace
Earlier this week Rebecca started to tease her new relationship when she shared a video of herself on TikTok wearing a necklace with the initial ‘L’ and the audio playing featured the lyrics “I’m obsessed”. It’s a major clue we missed and should have been our first indication that someone new was on the scene.

Rebecca was liking all of Lily’s photos
Ok so this is technically a little bit tricker to have spotted. However, if you follow both Lily and Rebecca you will have seen Rebecca has been liking Lily’s Instagram posts since late October. Lily has been liking Rebecca’s Instagram posts since late September, when Rebecca first appeared on the show, so it appears they’ve been in each other’s lives for a while now.
She literally said she wasn’t single
Last week Rebecca was asked by a follower if she found it difficult being single following the breakup with Bailey, to which Rebecca replied: “I’m not single.”
She then went onto add: “But I do know what you mean. I found it so weird when I turned 30, I felt so much pressure to be in a relationship, like I was missing out and everyone else was moving on. Just remember that the best relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself.”

Less than 48 hours ago Rebecca started to seriously soft launch her new relationship when she shared an Instagram dump of her life lately and included one picture of a bunch of flowers and a card that read: “To my girl, miss you and can’t wait to see you.”

She denied being back with Bailey
Following on from that Instagram dump, someone in the comments suggests they thought the card and flowers meant Rebecca and Bailey were back together.
However, Rebecca quickly shut it down and replied: “Nope x”.
